The Invention Piece 1 embodies Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey’s wish to honour the Double Tourbillon 30° and to raise the bar yet another notch by opening up whole new vistas for their first major invention.
The Quadruple Tourbillon is honored, with Invention Piece 2, focusing on its innovative mechanism through a completely new technical architecture. The movement assures full visibility through the sapphire crystal, convex sapphire display back and lateral window. Two Double Tourbillons are presented head-to-tail, allowing the mechanisms to be appreciated from all angles.
Invention Piece 3 pays homage to Greubel Forsey’s third invention with a fast-rotating Tourbillon 24 Secondes inclined at 25°. The time display features a large 24-hour dial outside concentric minutes and a small seconds dial at 5 o’clock. An off-centred power reserve indicator at 2 o’clock visually balances the tourbillon at 8 o’clock, which is also visible through the lateral window.
