The Atelier is a crucial element in Greubel Forsey's assiduous development process. The considerable investment in both machinery and highly skilled staff enable us to ensure that the very highest standards of quality are not just reached, but that they are exceeded!  The different departments in the atelier give an indication of how EWT® functions. The 3D design team convert sketches into digitized working plans. These evolve into complex 3D simulations which are tested and resolve the majority of technical issues.

Sophisticated CNC machines in the micro-mechanics workshop are capable of crafting virtually every single component. The prototyping department constructs working models which are rigorously tested in the well equipped laboratory. Constant improvements are made until the team is completely 100% satisfied.  New parts for the production timepieces are then produced and meticulously finished before the dexterous  watchmakers assemble and test the complicated mechanisms. Crafting timepieces at this extreme level of quality takes time. The reason why Greubel Forsey's output is so limited . . .  and so exclusive.
